Comfort, Fashion, AND Price?
When it comes to clothing shipments, I am so impatient. I bought this incredibly interesting, nothing-else-like-it shirt during an online Eco-Ganik sale* on the tenth, and finally got a delivery date…for the twenty-third. Even though it’s already the nineteenth, that is WAY too far away.
I obviously can’t show off the shirt until I get it (and oh, how there will be pictures), but until then I can post a couple of photos from the ‘net and tell you about the company that made it. The front of the shirt is pretty basic:
But the back! The back is what makes the shirt!
As someone who loathes the idea of her “relaxing clothes” being anything other than comfortable, this shirt is the perfect fit. It’s also eco-conscious (they’re based in California – not a foreign country – and use natural and organic fibers, plus low-impact dyes) and ran me a mere $45 after shipping. How’s that for forward-thinking fashion?
What’s even cooler: their line is available at Macy’s, Nordstrom AND Anthropologie, and has prices comparable to what those stores usually sell. Now, if I can only find them retailed at a locally-owned boutique (that has the occasional clearance sale) I’ll be made.

The sale has already ended (they only last a few days and this one was back in February) but I’ve heard rumblings that sometimes the designers make a reappearance. If you’d like an invite to the sale, let me know! I can email you one.
Otherwise, Google “Eco-Ganik.” The shirt’s from last season, so you may not find much, but you might get lucky and spot a great sale price! It was listed as an “Open Back Folded Collar Top in White,” so you might want to use a few of those keywords in your search.
Lastly, I didn’t see any other colors, but the white is really pretty and clean-looking. I’m normally a girl who wears a lot of black, but I still love it!
