Back from the Seattle Green Festival
I just got back from Seattle’s Green Festival – it was amazing! There were tons of booths, all with sustainable, local and organic products at wholesale and near-wholesale prices. After hours of scouring and business card exchanging I’m pretty exhausted, so for now I’ll leave you with only one suggestion: pick up some Choice organic tea. As of now, their Northwest Blackberry is the only thing keeping me conscious. (The taste, not the caffeine – it’s an herbal infusion.)
I promise, though, that I’ll have all of the dirt from the festival this week. The lovely Miss Sarah is going through the 166 photos she took(!!) and I’ll definitely be sharing what caught my eye (and my greenbacks).
In the mean time, if you went to the Green Festival (in Seattle or otherwise) and picked something up, share your finds! There was so much going on that I’m sure I missed something.

The mug in the photo is also from a fair trade store in Leavenworth, WA. All of the proceeds went back to the craftsman or woman who made the product. What a guilt free cup of tea!
I’m drinking a cup of the Choice Chai Spice Black Tea and it is absolutely delicious! I’ve added some local fireweed honey from Anna’s Honey Products for extra sweetness. Choice is a Seattle-based company, so I get double extra local points. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to find these products.
