St. Grace Goodies Have Arrived!
It’s entirely possible that I enjoyed my boyfriend’s birthday more than he did. Why? Because I finally got the St. Grace Carol pants I ordered, plus the sheered tank . (The henley is back-ordered.)
First of all, the fabric on both the pants and the tank feels so soft it’s almost buttery. At the same time, both pieces look really well-stitched, even at the bottom where the pants end in a raw hem. (The seam is still sewn together well.) The only problem with that is that these pants are way too long, and because I don’t want to ruin them, I’ll have to take them to a seamstress to make sure they’re chopped up correctly.
One thing I love about both of these pieces is the way that they move. I felt like a ballerina all over again. (I haven’t danced since I was, ahem, sixteen.)
The tank top can be dressed up too, of course: I’m wearing it with a pair of dark jeans, black leather flats and a japanese silk jacket (which was friend-thrifted). The way the shirt sheers at the top creates great visual interest, but is still plain enough to be totally versitle, and it hugs my curves while remaining loose on the body, which makes me feel sexy, not slutty.
All in all, I’d definitely buy St. Grace clothing again – as long as it’s on sale, and as long as it sticks to its west-coast roots, that is.

I’ll DEFINITELY keep my eyes open. I’m wearing the tank at work today and keep falling more in love with it. I can’t wait to buy more St. Grace goodies.
Aww! Lucky. The CSR said they may be having another sale soon and they’re getting a load of stuff in. Maybe they’ll get that top in again…….
