Awakened Aesthetic: Now using Facebook

Follow Me by Flickr user kitsh.
I’ve added a Facebook widget to my sidebar, so those of you that prefer it to RSS feed readers are more easily able to add me. (If you’re using a feed reader, you’ll need to click here to go to the main site to see the widget.)
If you haven’t “followed me” yet and are considering doing so, please do! Not only do I appreciate the ego boost (and who wouldn’t), but bigger readership numbers also mean more exposure for the artists, designers and conscious marketers out there. More often than not, this translates to more great discounts and free stuff for you, the reader. If you’re not already following me, here are all of the ways you can do so:
- Via email, by entering your email address into the sidebar on the right of the main website (I will never sell your email address or use it for marketing purposes – it’s for the feed only!);
- Using an RSS feed reader like Google Reader (my website’s “feed” is here);
- On my Twitter, where I post links to updates on my blog (along with other oddities);
- By logging into Stumbleupon and stumbling my site;
- By adding me as a favorite on your Technorati; or
- As I mentioned above, adding me on Facebook!
Either that, or you can just mosey on over to the main site whenever you feel like it, which works just as well. Whichever you choose, though, don’t forget to look through entries you may have missed, like my giveaway, sponsored by digital artist and illustrator Christina Entcheva. ‘Cause really, that’s what you came here for, right?

Hi Jennifer!
Thanks for visitng my blog. It gave me a chance to come here and see what you’re doing
I’m not very crafty either, and love a good bargain too. But don’t stay away from the Corporate stores forever. There are good finds. Like that gorgeous jacket I bought at Ann Taylor for $9.99 final sales price instead of $200+!

Nurit: I definitely won’t! Shopping consciously is important, but I don’t think anyone should be “cold turkey” about it. I still shop at places like Nordstrom, the Gap, and Banana Republic – I just try to keep my eyes open for great organic and direct-buy finds to slowly (but surely!) make my life a little greener.
