What’s red and green and cheap all over?  Red Tag Crazy, of course.

Though Red Tag Crazy (or “RTC”) is one of those “one thing on sale at a time” sites, it stands out to me for a few reasons:

• It lists high-end, well-made basics at true rock-bottom prices, not “well I GUESS I could afford it” discounts.
• The clothes are everything from trendy to timeless, and always feature a sense of comfort to them.  I feel like I could transition most of them from day to night with just a few accessory changes.
• It lists information about each designer and item, including what the item is made of and even styling tips!
• Last but not least, they’re listing Sworn Virgins, an eco-conscious line that makes all of its designs out of 100% biodegradable bamboo jersey (and none of it needs to be dry cleaned!).

I hadn’t heard of Sworn Virgins until I saw it on RTC (which I’m loathe to admit, since they’re all over the net) but now that I have I’m signing up for RTC’s email alerts so I know when the next minutes-to-buy sale happens.  On sale right now?  Their Open Shoulder Top.  It’s regularly $88, but for the next twenty minutes it’s only $21.98.

Be careful, though! Though the site has great eco-lines like Sworn Virgins, it also has products made in other countries, from imported materials and with less socially-conscious practices.  Always read the designers’ descriptions before you buy!
