I got my hair cut in July by a woman in Austin that I L O V E D - she knew how to work curly hair and didn't talk to me like an idiot as far as taking care of it. But it was, I think, with the tip a $50 haircut and I just haven't had the spare income since then to do it again, so I've been keeping it up myself. Things are evening out a little for us so hopefully I'll be able to go back soon.
