Another Sustainable Sale?! How About Three?

File under: Awakened Options: Organic, Beauty, Sustainable Sales

First of all, that sale on Peacekeeper lipsticks, glosses and nail polish ends in eleven hours, so if you still want to check it out, get on it.  (If you’re curious how their polishes translate on actual nails, check out Elle’s review of Peacekeeper’s polishes here.)

In addition, The Fairest seems to be on a roll: they’re having three more sales on sustainable beauty products, and they all started today.

The first is Exuberance, which makes certified organic and paraben-free face washes, lotions and masks.  I’ve heard through the grapevine that these products are great for sensitive skin, but honestly, I just like the pretty packaging.  They’ve got a great selection available right now, and it’s all 55-60% off.

Next up is Panpuri, which makes intesely beautiful-looking hair and body products using all natural ingredients focused on the restorative powers of Eastern botanicals.  (That means no parabens or sodium lauryl sulfate – two ingredients that are often used in cosmetics and washes, and really, really shouldn’t be.)  They’re also proud to boast their no-animal-testing policy – the only animal-based ingredients used in the line are beeswax and honey.

Last up is Pangea Organics.  This company is one of the big daddies of organic beauty: they use sustainable packaging (some of it is plantable), all natural preservatives and concentrated formulas (read: no fillers), so their products never lack for quality or sustainability.  They also work!  Sure, they’re less flashy, but I kind of respect the no-nonsense vibe their products evoke.  It makes me more likely to use them every day, instead of hoarding them for fear they’ll run out.

So that’s the whole of it: lots of stuff on sale (40-60%) at The Fairest.  It’s almost intimidating – which do I choose?

One last thing: if you need an invite to become a member at The Fairest, I’d love it if you’d use mine.  There’s no reward if you sign up, and they don’t spam you, but if you find something you like I get a credit on my account – which I’m all about spending to try more organic products that I can review for you.  (Besides, if they make me break out you’ll get to see embarassing photos, and isn’t that worth it all on its own?)
