Getting Graphic
I don’t care how into fashion you are: everyone has and loves at least one graphic t-shirt. It could be that one with the pink kitty your mom got you when you were seven, or the brand new $75 designer tee your friends think cost too much. Either way, it’s perfect for casual Fridays, under a pencil skirt, tucked into boyfriend jeans…you can wear it with anything.
I’m a big fan of all things graphic tee, and since Elle and I initially bonded over our love of Threadless, we thought it would be a great idea to talk about graphic tees, and how to find the best ones to fit your body type. We went in depth over at The Demoiselles (check out the post here) and, because we had a few too many favorites, we each picked an additional tee to post about on our sites. Here’s my favorite, eco-style:
Effigy Pure: $39
I love how this tee evokes something within me. No irritating quips, no ironic images – just something oddly striking and beautiful. The fact that it’s organic cotton makes it heavenly, but I also like that it can work on multiple body types. I can see its long, lean box-shape on a straight-bodied girl, but I also like the right-hand curves for an hourglass figure…
