Though I’m not a fan of just perusing online boutiques as a passtime, I make an exception for Etsy.

For those of you that have been living under a rock (that can’t be comfortable, can it?), Etsy’s moniker is “Buy, Sell, and Live Handmade.”  Their goal is to connect makers with buyers, therein removing all of the stress, markups and corporate counterculture in our current economy – and they do just that.  I began supporting the artists on Etsy long before I started this site, and will continue to do so long after it’s lost in the internet ether.
