To Covet: Magenta Fifty Five
Occasionally, I like to post things that I just plain want – whether or not they fit my style, budget, or even my ever-changing mood. Ergo, the semi-regular To Covet: a category that shows one thing that I’ve been coveting, be it eco-, socio- or independently-friendly.
MATT AND NAT Magenta Fifty Five: $250
I’m just now getting to like those bright, eighties-tastic colors that have been in style lately, and I’ve always loved gunmetal detailing, and duh, it’s by MATT & NAT, so of course it’s amazingly eco-friendly, too. I was looking for gym bags when I found this beauty…and now I’m stuck on it.
Am I too late for the “garishly bright colors” trend?

I say fuck whether or not you’re too late for it! Also, I think magenta totally falls outside fo the garishly bright color category. Hell, it’s been a staple of my wardrobe for almost a decade….

I think it’s gooorgeous. Obviously I’ve never been one to shy away from bright colors, though, so take that with a grain of salt

I think maybe it’s that it’s magenta AND it’s shiney AND it’s big. I’ve got a mustard yellow purse that would have fallen into the “trendy” category when I bought it, but it totally goes with my color palette…
