A Second Rest
We at Coffin Couches [...] strongly believe in recycling. Our niche happens to be 18 gauge steel coffins which we collected from local funeral homes primarily in Southern California. [...] These coffins are not used for burial due to slight cosmetic inconsistencies. They are reconfigured and modified resulting in a finished product – a unique one a kind coffin couch.
Coffin Couches.
Yes, really.
I want one.

Red Baron (my personal favorite): $3,500
I could say so many things about “resting in peace,” “death: the ultimate form of recycling,” and even make a vampire joke or two, but some of these designs don’t even look coffin-y. I see the gothic influence, and the dark feel, but if I didn’t know they were made from coffins, it wouldn’t be immediately obvious.
(Did that argument sound convincing enough for my boyfriend to believe?)
