I would love to see Nordstrom's buyers get to know a designer...it just does not happen small boutiques cater to designers and we cater to them and they cater to their customers. It is sad to see them close. Partially because of my size and partially because I don't ever know what I want. Both of those reasons tend to be why I shop at chain store, too, but mostly online. And with free shipping, it makes it too easy. Also, I have about zero fashion sense. I'm one of those special girls that doesn't really know how to be a girl. I need a surragate mommy to teach me! I find shopping in actual stores for clothing intimidating. Partially because of my size and partially because I don’t ever know what I want. I hunt for the best price-quality relation and usually end up at outlets and discount stores like TJMaxx and Marshalls. I have been to boutiques and everything's great but the prices make me cringe. My first purchase would be this galaxy skirt I am oogling from Mociun (http://shop.prettypleasedear.com/product/mociun-moon-walker-skirt). Sadly, 98$ on a handmade, beautiful skirt, even on sale, is way too expensive. My real wardrobe comes from a mix of the Salvation Army, Target, and H&M.
